MY STORY
Auto-biographical stories weave together with Sumerian mythology, Rumi, Astor Piazzolla and Latin American songs to explore the question 'What is Love?'
A Storytelling, Eurythmy, Music Performance.
Seven years ago, when I was 22 years old, I left South Korea with a vision to return in 15 years and create a community that will have a positive impact on the social change. This vision led me to Turkey, Israel and England. As a young woman, I wanted to learn how to be a change maker and a peace worker.
On this journey, I met my first love, an experience that was the catalyst for my story. Alongside the vision I have and the beauty of love, I started to experience an inner conflict between ‘Love’ and the ‘Shadow of Love’: Jealousy, Fear, Anger, Mistrust and Insecurity. My lover was my mirror, I could see my dark-self through his eyes. Since then, whatever I do in the world, the question “What is Love?” keeps coming back to me, like a spiral. So this is the story of my seven year journey to understand Love through myth, poetry, music and dance.
